First ever Fal River Autumn Walking Festival

Picture perfect views and unique flora and fauna will be on offer at the first ever Fal River Autumn Walking Festival.

Organised by the team behind the Fal River Festival the two week event aims to highlighting the best of what the Fal River has to offer, and give an autumn boost to businesses.
The walks will roam past historical points of interest, meander along coast paths and pass through areas of outstanding natural beauty and world heritage sites.

Festival director, Toby Budd, said: «The festival has two real aims. Firstly, to encourage more visitors to come to Cornwall in autumn and help provide a boost for local accommodation providers, as well as other businesses such as restaurants and pubs. Secondly, we want to showcase the amazing walks and autumnal colour that are in the river Fal area.»

Running from October 21 to November 6, the festival will have guided and self-guided walks through some of the most stunning scenery Cornwall has to offer.
A range of walks of different lengths to suit all abilities will be on offer for everyone, and their dogs, with “Blue Badge Guides” helping give walkers an insight into areas from the Roseland to the Helford Passage.
