An annual walking festival has begun across Suffolk.
The South and Heart of Suffolk Walking Festival, now in its fourth year, features 31 guided walks in various locations to suit different fitness levels.
Organised by Mid Suffolk and Babergh District Councils, it aims to encourage local residents and visitors to explore the Suffolk countryside.
The Discover Suffolk Project sponsors the event, which lasts until 5 June.
A number of the walks have a different theme, including poetry, photograpy and painting.
Karina Coghlin, Babergh's Tourism and Arts Manager, said: «The region has softly undulating landscapes, pretty villages and magnificent cultural heritage. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the fresh air while exploring its countryside on foot.»
