Urbanist Reviver Walk
Our Yoga Walk director, Leonor Mowry, will get us physically and mentally balanced so that we can better enjoy the benefits of walking as well as our natural environment. We will explore the Cedarvale Ravine, the Kay Gardner Beltline and the Forest Hill hood!

Temagami
Over the weekend of September 17th, 2011 Alex Mathias, an Ojibway Elder, will host his annual Changing of the Seasons Ceremony to celebrate the fall equinox on his traditional family territory in the Temagami region of Ontario.
On Saturday there will be a 'Changing of the Seasons' ceremony, a group potluck lunch, visits to Spirit Rock, and guided hikes through the old-growth forest. Attendees have the option of participating in group events after the ceremony, exploring the area on their own, or simply enjoying some quiet time on the lake. There is no structured agenda for the weekend and Sunday is an open day which may include a guided canoe excursion for those who are interested.

The Fall colours should start appearing as we make our way through Wilket Creek, Sunnybrook Park, Glendon Forest, Sherwood Park & Alexander Muir Park.

Rouge River Valley
What better way to give thanks to mother nature for a hike in the Rouge River Valley on the thanksgiving weekend!
Our Rhythm Walk director Eva Karpati will be making sure that we're all 'Walking in Rhythm' through the Rouge trails!

By popular demand we will be travelling to the glorious Hockley Valley near Orangevill to enjoy a challenging five hour hike through beautifully rugged, stoney, hilly terrain.

Humber River Challenge
Be prepared for a 22k Walk starting at the Humber Arboretum and following the Humber River to Lake Ontario!
We will be arranging for a bus to pick us up at York Mills subway at 9am and taking us to the Arboretum starting place and then pick us up at the Lake Ontario finish and bring us back to York Mills Subway Station!
There will be a small cost for the bus of approximately $30/person and we need 50 people to make it work.
It's an All Day 6-7 hour event.We will be arranging for a bus to pick us up at York Mills subway at 9am and taking us to the Arboretum starting place and then pick us up at the Lake Ontario finish and bring us back to York Mills Subway Station!
