Walk 1     Wild Orchid Safari    
Tuesday 7th June 10am - 1pm
A 3 mile stroll across the local hills with a local naturalist in search of some of the Chiltern's renown wild orchids.               

Walk 2     Family Minibeasts ramble
Wednesday 8th June 6.30pm - 8.30pm
Join naturalist John Tyler at the local Brush Hill nature reserve and enter the magical and mysterious world of minibeasts and prepare to be amazed! Bring binoculars if you have them.

Walk 3     Butterfly Safari    
Thursday 9th June 2pm - 5pm
Join wlldlife enthusiast Francis Gomme on a 3 mile ramble hunting for some of the fabulous  common and scarcer Chiltern butterflies on downland near the town. A 3 mile stroll..

Walk 4     Geology of the Chilterns    
Friday 10th June 7pm - 9pm
An evening ramble that introduces walkers to the dramatic geological story that created our local landscape, a story that stretches back millions of years but can still be seen today. A nice evening ramble too!

Walk 5      Nordic Walking for beginners
Saturday 11th June 10am - 11am
The healthy way to walk. Your chance to try Nordic Walking - no previous experience necessary
 - poles provided!

Walk 6      Back to Brunel
Saturday 11th June 10am - 1pm  4 mile circular walk
Join railway enthusiast Francis Gomme and step back 150 years to the origins of our local railways. We will explore the surviving features of Brunel's original broad gauge Wycombe Railway and Edward Watkin's dream to connect Paris and Mancherster, via Princes Risborough, in the 1890s!

Walk 7      Rail & Ramble
Saturday 11th June 10.15am - 4pm ALL DAY WALK
Catch the train to Saunderton and then step back in time on a 5 mile ramble through an ancient landscape studded with historical sites, fabulous wildlife and stunning scenery. Bring a packed lunch. The walk ends at St Mary's Church Hall for cream teas!

Walk 8      How to read a map and navigate
Saturday 11th June 10am - 1pm
Want to get more out of your walks and the local countryside? Join Stuart Fletcher on a 4-5 mile walk into our local landscape and learn some simple map reading skills that will give you more confidence.

Walk 9      A wander in the fields
Saturday 11th June 2pm - 4.30pm
An easy level 4 mile ramble with local walker Michael Hoey into the Aylesbury Vale, taking you through sheep pastures, horse meadows and sleepy hamlets. Enjoy pastoral England at its best. The walk ends at St Mary's Church Hall for cream teas!

Walk 10      The Upper Hamlets
Saturday 11th June 2pm - 4pm
Historian Denis Claydon takes us back in time, exploring the ancient Churchway and the settlement of Wardrobes on a gentle 4 mile countryside ramble.The walk ends at St Mary's Church Hall for cream teas!
Cream Teas available at St Mary's Church Hall on Saturday afternoon,  whether you are walking or not !

Walk 11      Up and Down the Chiltern edge!
Sunday 12th June 10am - 1pm
Join local walker Michael Hoey on a 6 mile walk along the Chiltern escarpment taking in the dramatic 800ft summits of Whiteleaf and Pulpit hills. Wonderful vistas and plenty of fresh air!

Walk 12        The Chiltern Way
Sunday 12th June 10am - 4pm ALL DAY CIRCULAR WALK
Explore the dramatic Chiltern Hills on an all day circular walk into the high country with Mike Fox. Stunning views, fascinating history and superb wildlife including Hampden House, Little Hampden and Chequers. BRING A PICNIC

Walk 13      Chilterns Artist Trail
3 mile circular walk 10am - 1pm
Explore the secret places and landscapes in and around Whiteleaf village that so captivated famous British artists including Paul Nash and Claire Leighton, in the 1930s.Visit some of their favourite scenes, many that remain relatively unchanged through time as we will see from copies of their original work.

Walk 14      Town Heritage Trail
1 mile stroll.  2pm - 3.30pm
Join the Princes Risborough Area Heritage Society on a gentle ramble around our historic market town, revealing the fascinating history of the homes, farms, pubs, business, churches and chapels.

Walk 15      Colonisation of the Chilterns
6 mile guided circular walk   2pm - 5pm
The Chilterns have been occupied by man for thousands of years. Stuart Fletcher  describes how man influenced the landscape after the retreat of the ice age and visits evidence that survives today. A nice afternoon countryside ramble too!
