5 mile circular from Pickering Castle.
Meet: Castle 2pm.

6 mile linear walk from Pickering to Cropton, using tracks and field footpaths.
Some country road walking.

Caminhada No. 3
9 mile circular walk from Gillamoor to Low Mill.  Starting from Gillamoor we look over Surprise View and visit a Quaker burial ground, before reaching Low Mill in Farndale.  Then we climb to the western edges of Farndale with wonderful views over the moors and valley.
Meet minibus at Tourist Information Centre, Pickering - 9am.
Walk finishes approx 3.40pm.
Dogs OK on leads.
Grade: moderate.
Packed lunch required.

Caminhada No. 4
11 mile circular - Saltergate and Allerston High Moor.   Forestry and permissive moorland paths with fine views at the rear of RAF Fylingdales.  Also visiting Lilla Cross and Malo Cross. 
Distance:  11.2m or 11.7 if Blakey Topping is included (optional)
Total ascent 1000 ft (or 1,250 ft for Topping)
Meet:  Saltergate car park on A169 (Whitby Road).  Small charge for parking.

8 mile circular from Allerston.   Walking over fields and woodland through Givendale, before descending to Ebberston via King Aldred's Cave.  Stunning views over Vale of Pickering and the Wolds.  Finishing at Cayley Arms, Allerston for Cream Teas (please book for teas at same time as walk booking - £3.50).
Meet minibus at Tourist Information Centre, Pickering - 10.15am.
Walk to start at The Green, Allerston (bottom of village opposite station) 10.30am

5 mile circular on Pickering's delightful footpaths.
Gentle walk in the south of Pickering on field paths and country lanes.  Ancient packhorse bridge and Wintofts farm.
Meet:  Forest & Vale Hotel, Pickering (by roundabout) 2pm.
Can book or just turn up.
Dogs: Yes on leads please.

Caminhada No. 7
10 mile linear walk - Goathland to Whitby using N York Moors Steam Railway.
We catch the train to Goathland, then walk to Whitby via Grosmont.  Here we join the Esk Valley Walk which goes via Sleights and Ruswarp to Whitby.
Moorland, country paths and roads, riverside paths with fine views. Fish and chips in Whitby and sight-seeing if time allows.
Meet at Pickering station platform 2 at              (to be announced)

9m circular walk from Levisham Station.   We take the train from Pickering station to Levisham, then walk amongst the trees up Newtondale to cross over the railway line under Needle Point.  We proceed up the valley to Saltergate before heading down the Hole of Horcum to Levisham station for the 20 minute train journey back to Pickering.
Meet at Pickering station for train to Levisham               (time to be announced)

6m circular NATURE WALK between Goathland and Grosmont.
Riverside, woodland and field paths amidst the delightful scenery of 'Heartbeat' country.
Meet at Pickering station 9.30am for 10am train         (time to be confirmed)

Caminhada No. 10
8 mile circular - WILDLIFE WALK - Cropton Forest.  Tracking and Trailing.
The walk will all be in plantation woodland on defined footpaths, but will have fine views over moorland and down Newtondale.  Cropton Forest is teeming with wildlife.  This will be a great forest experience with the leader pointing out tracks, trails and signs to help you interpret these on your future walks.
Meet minibus at Tourist Information Centre, Pickering 9.30am.

Field paths and country lanes around this scenic village.

Caminhada No. 12
13 mile linear walk from Hole of Horcum.   Walk over Levisham Moor to Skelton Tower which fine views over the railway and valley.   Visiting the moorland village of Levisham before having a cuppa in Lockton.  Cross the railway at Farwath and head back to Pickering via Blansby Park.   Moorland, fine scenery, small country villages, field paths and paths following the N Y Moor railway.
Meet: Tourist Information Centre, Pickering 10am.
