Sábado 28 de Janeiro
 
A Walk:   The Galtees from the East (moderate)
Registration up to 9am.       /     Bus Departs 9.15am sharp
Distance: 18km.
Highest Point Galtymore (919m)
Walking Time: 6 hours
This “A” Walk is for very experienced walkers, taking in 5 peaks along the Galtees; starting from Combán Wood up to Temple Hill on to Galtymore, Galtybeg and Cush and back down to pick up point at Clydagh Bridge.   This is a challenging route with ascents and descents for the seasoned A walker.

“B(1)”  Walk:  Lough Curra
Registration up to 10am.      /    Bus departs 10.15am sharp
Distance 9km.
Highest Point Lough Curra 586m
Walking time 4 hours.
Saturday’s “B” walk starts from the Glencush Boreen, taking you through woodlands, out onto the open fields and up on to the old “ice Road” which finds its way to the Lough, which at 586 m is the highest of the 5 lakes on the Galtees.

“B(2)”  Walk: The Dolmen
Registration up to 10am.
Distance 12km.
Highest Point Dolmen 370m
Walking time 4  hours.
Saturday’s B walk starts from the base at Aherlow house Hotel. This is a very lovely low level walk on Slievenamuck which makes its way to the historical and mythical bed of “Diarmuid & Gráinne”. Spectacular views of the Galtees only serve to add to the beauty of this walk.


“C” Walk: Rock an Thorabh
Registration up to 12 noon.
Distance 9km
Walking time 3 hours
Starting from the base at Aherlow House Hotel, this 3 hour walk offers the best of nature trails, panoramic views of Tipperary town before finding its way to Christ the King which affords the walker the most enjoyable view of the beautiful Glen of Aherlow.

“A” Walk: Cush Mountain  (Moderate)
Registration up to  9.00am.   /     Bus Departs 9.15am sharp
Distance 11km
Highest Point Cush Cush 639m
Walking time  4  hours.
“Cush” is perhaps the most loved of the Galtee’s peaks, and at 628m offers an invigorating and challenging walk.  It is the added attraction of entirely different and spectacular views of Galtymore and Galtybeg that make this walk a must


B Walk:  Lake Borheen
Registration up to  10am.      /      Bus departs 10.15am sharp
Distance 12.5km  
Highest Borheen  (595m)
Walking time 4  hours.
Introducing a new walk to our Festival, starting from Rossbog, via Carrigeen Wood, and out on to open moorland up in to Lake Borheen and return by Lake Diheen and Dromleigh Wood, down vai Galtee stile to Clydagh Bridge

C Walk (1):  Aherlow House Loop
Registration up to 12 noon
Distance 11km
Walking time 3-4 hours
Sunday’s C Walk takes you down the road from the Hotel on to forest tracks along part of Ballinacourty Loop and and intersecting with the Lisvarrinane Loops up on to Slievenamuck with great views back along the valley

A Walk = Very Experienced walker:
B Walk  = Experienced walker;
C Walk  = Regular/Casual walker;
