The East side of the Bluestacks.

Strenuous    Walk 

Length:  7-8    hours   
 Extension:  16klms
Start: Gap of Barnis
Registration 9.00am at the  John Bosco Centre
This walk takes us to a remote part of the Bluestacks.  These are rugged and gaunt grey mountains, which from  a distance give off a hue of blue. This route will climb  summits of Croaghnageer 571m Croaghaninwore 548m and Croaghconnellagh 523m.




Moderate    Walk 
Length: 5 hours    
Extension: 8 klms    
Start: Gap of Barnis
Registration 10.00am at the
John Bosco Centre
Taking the meandering route of the Lowerymore River  to the summit of  Croaghconnellagh  523m.

The    Heart    of    the    Bluestacks


Strenious    Walk    

Length: 7- 8hours   
Extension:   18klm
Registration 9.00am at the  John Bosco Centre
This walk takes us into the heart of the Bluestacks and three  of the highest peaks. Silver Hill 600m, Lavagh Beg 650m  and Lavagh Mor 671 on whose summit you will see at least  six counties.
 

Moderate    Walk    
4-5hours    
10klm  
Registration at 10.00am in the  John Bosco Centre Carnaween 521m,  “ The Hill of the Birds”. On this  mountain you can leave part of yourself in Donegal.
Sign your name on the only book in the Donegal Mountain.  Meet Fionn MacCumhaill and hear some of the stories  and legends associated with this mountain.


Easy    Walk        

Length: 3hours    
Extension:  6klms  
Registration 11.00am in the  John Bosco Centre
Children are welcome on this walk and must be  accompanied by an adult.


Murvagh  
A gentle stroll along one of Donegal’s Blue Flag beaches  and returning through the forest.
