Grade A walk: Burren Peaks Part 1
This is a Strenuous Grade A walk for very experienced walkers taking in 8 peaks along the Burren. Starting from Mullach Mor, Burren National Park to Slievecarran via the Cappamore Range. This is a challenging route across rough, rugged limestone terrain with ascents and descents for the very experienced walker.
Registration at 7am at Base
Bus Depart at 7.30am
Walk starts at 8.15am.
Walk Time minimum 8hrs +

Grade B walk: Cathair Dhun Irguis / Poll Berrin / BlackHead Walk
Saturday’s B walk for the experienced walker starts in Fermoyle, Fanore and takes you up on to Murrough mountain around by Poll Berrin, on to Cathair Dhun Irguis and Blackhead on the way home. This walk with a gradual climb to 650ft is on limestone terrain and trial green road for the experienced walker.
Registration at 9.30am at Base
Bus Depart at 10am.
Walk starts at 10.30am.
Walk Time minimum 5hrs +

Grade C walk: Wood Loop & Aillwee Cave
Saturday’s C walk is suitable for all regular walkers is family friendly and starts in Ballyvaughan taking the Wood Loop to the Aillwee Caves. Here we see the Burren Birds of Prey, take in a tour of the Cave and see the Burren Gold Cheese being produced, before we continue on the Wood Loop back to Ballyvaughan. This is an off road trail and green road walk for the regular walker.

Walk starts at 11.30am
Walk time 2hrs plus visit to Aillwee Caves, Total 4hrs.
Walk not suitable for pushchairs.

Grade A walk: Burren Peaks Part 2.
This is an other Strenuous Grade A walk for very experienced walkers along the Burren area. Recommencing from Slievecarran via Turlough Hill, the Peaks surrounding Corcomroe Abbey, Moneen mountain, dropping down by Aillwee and finishing on Cappanawalla …. finishing our peaks challenge 2009. This is a challenging route across rough, rugged limestone terrain with ascents and descents for the very experienced walker.

Bus Depart at 7.30am
Walk starts at 8.15am.
Walk Time minimum 8hrs +


Grade B walk: Ballinalacken to Ballyvaughan.
Sunday’s B walk for the experienced walker starts at Ballinalacken Castle and takes you along the Burren Way enjoying beautiful views of Galway Bay, Fanore Beach,Caher Valley and Cappanawalla as you make your way back to Ballyvaughan. This is a trail and green road walk with minimal climbing for the experienced walker.

Bus Depart at 10am.
Walk starts at 10.30am.
Walk Time minimum 5hrs +

Grade C walk: Flaggy Shore, Newquay and Sight Seeing Tour
Sunday’s C walk is suitable for all regular walkers is family friendly and starts in Newquay walking by Lady Gregory’s summer house along the beautiful Flaggy Sore. This is a road walk for the regular walker. After your walk, you will be taken on a sight seeing tour to visit The home of Michael Cusack founder of the GAA and on to see Poulnabrone Dolmen and back to base in Ballyvaughan.

Bus Departs at 11am
Walk starts at 11.30am
Walk time 2hrs plus sightseeing tour Total 4.5hrs.
