Challenging Walks:
1. Offa's Country Challenge (Festival 40 part 1) - Knighton to Bishops Castle – 16 miles / 3100 feet ascent.
Includes a fine section of Offa's Dyke – Available all three days - Start 9.00am 
 2. High Ridges & Wild Wales (Festival 40 part 2) – Shelve to Bishops Castle – 12.5 miles / 1500 feet ascent. Available all three days - Start 9.30am 
3. Homeward Bound across the Merry Hills (Festival 40 part 3) – Clunbury to Bishops Castle – 12 miles / 2000 feet ascent. Available all three days - Start 9.00am

Moderate / Themed Walks:
4. Hurricanes and Horses – Bow House to Acton Scott Working Museum via the Long Mynd & Stretton Gap – 10 Miles – 1500 feet ascent. Available all three days - Start 9.30am 
5. By the Onny and Atop a Folly – With local AONB rivers expert Mike Kelly – 7 miles – 1100 feet ascent.
Includes a view from the top of Flounders Folly. Available all three days - Start 9.00 am 
6. Round & About Bishops Castle – Try out our festival with a Free Taster Walk – 9 miles – 1450 feet ascent. Available all three days - Start 9.30am 
7. Walking through History – With local expert David Preshous – 7.5 miles – 1050 feet ascent.
A gentle walk through wild country - Available all three days - Start 9.30am

Leisurely / Easy Walks:
8. Discovering Acton Scott – A walk and behind the scenes tour of this Historic Working Farm – 4 miles – 350 feet ascent. Available Tuesday only - Start 9.00am 
9. Walk and Sketch with Joan Baker, our famed local artist (bring your own sketch book and pencil/pen) - Up to 3 miles / 350ft ascent.
Available Wednesday only - Start 9.30am 
10. Gutter and Gloves – With local Historian Keith Pybus -A gentle walk through dingles to Stokesay Court - 3 miles – 250 ft ascent. The Victorian mansion famed in the film Atonement - Available Thursday only - Start 9.00am
